Google it. Most large communities have one. I would not recommend methadone clinics - they do not work. Note, many clinics falsify their success rates - avoid anyone with who claims a high cure rate, because there is no such thing as a cure. There can be abstinence and recovery, but there is no cure for addiction. Programs use success rates to get state and local funding and usually measure it by police arrests within a year period and are not an accurate indicator of drug usage. The only credible programs have complete abstinence policies and encourage 12 step meeting attendance. Religious based programs have very low success rates, mostly because they treat it as a morality problem and do not understand the disease concept. The best long term success rates are found in 12 step programs like AA or NA. go to aa.org/ or na.org/ for more info. |
